How we handle your data

1. What we collect

When you create an account

• Your name and email address.
• A password, if you sign up with email. It is stored only as a secure hash, never as you typed it.
• Your Google name and email, if you continue with Google. We don't get your Google password or access to your Google account.

When you build a plan

• The lessons you pick, the days and time you want them, and how many weeks the plan runs.
• Your WhatsApp number (Indian numbers only) and your consent to receive messages, with the time you gave it.
• Whether you want a weekly email summary.
• If you ask AI to pick your lessons: your answers (your goals, how often you use AI and anything you type in) and the lessons it picked, which we keep to check the picks are good.

As you learn

• Lessons you watch or mark as done, and when.
• Your quiz answers and scores, and the practice tasks you complete.
• When we send each message and whether it was delivered and read, as reported by WhatsApp or our email provider.

If you contact us

• If you ask about Nudgeable Pro or tell us where you're stuck: your name, email or WhatsApp number, and your message.

You can browse lessons without an account. We don't use analytics or tracking tools.

2. How we use it

• To run your account and keep you signed in.
• To build your plan and send each lesson on WhatsApp, and the weekly email if you asked for it.
• To show your progress, streak and what's next.
• To answer your questions and Pro requests.
• To fix problems and improve the lessons and AI picks.

We send WhatsApp messages only after you tick the consent box, and email summaries only if you opt in. We don't use your data for advertising.

3. Who we share it with

We share data only with the services that run Nudgeable Learn for us, and only what each one needs:

Supabase

Our database, sign-in and file storage. Everything above is stored here.

Vercel

Hosts the website.

Meta (WhatsApp Business)

Delivers your lesson messages: your number and the message.

Resend

Sends emails: your email address and the message.

Google Gemini

Suggests lessons when you ask AI to pick them: your answers to its questions, not your name or contact details. Don't type anything private into the last question.

Google

Only if you choose Continue with Google, to confirm who you are.

YouTube

Some lessons are YouTube videos. The player loads only when you press play, from YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com). From then on YouTube's own privacy policy applies to that video.

Some of these services store data outside India. We may also share data if the law requires it, or to protect our users or service from fraud or abuse.

4. Cookies and browser storage

• Sign-in cookies, set when you log in, keep you signed in. They're needed for the site to work, so there's no switch for them.
• Browser storage (on your device only) remembers the lessons you've picked and opened, and your plan settings while you build a plan. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your account and progress while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, plans and progress. Records of messages we sent are kept for a limited time to handle delivery problems and disputes, then deleted.

6. Your choices and rights

• Stop WhatsApp messages: reply STOP to any message.
• Stop emails: use the unsubscribe link in any email.
• See, correct or delete your data: email us at team@nudgeable.ai from the address on your account. We'll reply within 30 days.
• Withdraw consent at any time. It doesn't affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can also complain to the Data Protection Board of India if we don't resolve your concern. Nudgeable Learn is not meant for children under 18.

7. Security

Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Database rules let each learner see only their own data, and only a small number of staff can see learner details, for support. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we'll tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
